Alternatives 2007 Call for Papers and Scholarships Available
Alternatives 2007, the national mental health conference organized by and for mental health consumers and survivors, will be held October 10-14 at the Hilton Hotel at the Ballpark in St. Louis, MO. This year's conference, "Spanning the Recovery Movement: Consumer Control and Choice," is organized by the National Mental Health Consumer Self-Help Clearinghouse with support from SAMHSA/CMHS.
The Call for Papers is now available at the Alternatives 2007 website! Everyone is invited to consider becoming a presenter at Alternatives 2007; first time presenters are especially welcome. Learning from each other is a clear example of self-help, mutual support and the principles of recovery in action! April 30th is the deadline for presentation applications.
Scholarship applications are being accepted until May 25.
