May 27-May 30, 2003

Marriott Wardman Park Hotel

The President's New Freedom Commission on Mental Health has noted that resiliency and recovery are key to the success of the mental health services system. This Joint Conference, sponsored by the Center for Mental Health Services of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, will explore topics from the planning and data communities that will attempt to achieve these goals in times of severe economic austerity.

Last year's Joint Conference was attended by more than 650 persons, including data persons, State planners, consumers/family members who are mental health planning council members as well as State and federal program officials.
