NIMH: Archived Videocast of Outreach Partnership Program Annual Meeting
The archived videocast of the plenary sessions, Mental Health Treatments and Evidence Based Practices for Treatment and Dissemination, are now available on the Outreach Partnership Program Web site. Users can link directly to the each presenters' talk. During the opening plenary NIMH staff and scientists presented information on recent scientific advances in mental health and substance abuse treatments. The session concluded with a discussion about mental health and substance abuse science and the media. The second plenary session covered the latest information on clinical trial recruitment, the use of ClinicalTrials.gov, and the application of evidence-based practices for treatment and dissemination. The session finished with a presentation on the application of NIMH's Real Men, Real Depression campaign in a local Illinois community.
