New Web Resource on Wellness for People with Mental Illnesses
Papers and presentations from the National Wellness Summit for People with Mental Illness are now available at a website hosted by the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation. The summit, sponsored by the Center for Mental Health Services, was attended by over 100 experts, meeting to promote wellness and reduce early mortality for people with mental illnesses. These materials, as well as links to other wellness resources, help to address the public health crisis of early mortality, recently estimated at 25 years of life lost for people with serious mental illnesses. Find out how you can add your name to The Pledge for Wellness, a commitment made by individuals and organizations to promote wellness for people with mental illnesses and to reduce early mortality.
