On May 14, the Journal of General Internal Medicine released a study comparing patient centered medical home (PCMH) pilot projects nationally, based on their ability to lower costs while improving quality. The study found concerns over the adequacy of payment mechanisms in the pilot programs as well as a lack of self-evaluation.
