The Journal of Healthcare for the Poor and Underserved has released a report by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that defines health care access issues and offers strategies for addressing them. The authors highlight three categories of barriers to accessing health care: financial, stuctural, and cognitive. The report offers strategies for policymakers to address each of the identified barrier categories.
