This article published in Health Affairs explores the fluctuation in enrollment between Medicaid and insurance exchanges as individual income levels change. The article predicts that in a six month period, 35 percent of families with incomes below 200 percent of the federal poverty level will experience this change in eligibility. The article then discusses strategies to ameliorate this issue.
