Identification and Treatment of Mental and Substance Use Conditions: Health Plans Strategies

This study investigates the varied strategies health plans utilize in identifying behavioral health conditions and describes the characteristics of those plans and strategies.  While most plans use many strategies to identify behavioral health conditions there is an observed disparity in strategy utilization between mental health and substance abuse screenings.
