Published on July 23, this article examined the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit Program (Part D) as Congress attempts to reform health care. The article determined that Part D has increased access to prescription drugs among Medicare beneficiaries and produced savings for seniors, but it is still plagued by gaps in coverage and other problems.
