From SAMHSA's Weekly Financing News Pulse: National Edition - March 26, 2010: The U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC) released the 2010 National Drug Threat Assessment (NDTA), highlighting trends in production, transportation, distribution, and abuse of drugs.  In addition, the NDTA estimates the economic cost of drug abuse at $215 billion annually.
