Risk Adjustment Alternatives in Paying for Behavioral Health Care under Medicaid

By assessing the performance of several risk containment methods for behavioral healthcare, this study concludes that there is still financial incentive for plans to avoid patients with high utilization rates and psychiatric disorders.
