The Kaiser Family Foundation released three sets of state data on health coverage enrollment trends and states’ applications for health insurance premium review grants. The first set examines children’s Medicaid and CHIP participation rates for 2008. The second set examines the improvements to CHIP eligibility and benefits states implemented as a result of CHIPRA. The final set outlines which states have applied for federal grants available under the national health care reform law to improve state oversight of health insurance premium increases, and the specific purposes for which states sought the grants.

Second Data Set: State Plan Coverage Improvements to CHIP as Measured by CHIPRA, February 2009 through January 2010
