The Impact of Part D on Psychotropic Utilization and Financial Burden for Community-Based Seniors

This study is an examination of the impact of Medicare Part D on psychotropic medication utilization and the finical burden for elderly population.  Part D reduces out-of-pocket expenses for covered medications which, in turn, increases access; however, Part D also significantly increased the financial burden for excluded medications.
