Each year, SAMHSA and our partners host the Voice Awards to recognize the outstanding efforts of consumer/peer leaders and the entertainment industry to increase public understanding and acceptance of individuals with mental and substance use disorders.
On August 24, 2011, the Voice Awards was hosted by Emmy and Golden Globe award nominee and NBC’s “Parenthood” star, Peter Krause, at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA.
