Environmental Strategies Online Course

The Environmental Strategies Online Course from the National Criminal Justice Training Center is designed to help you become familiar with environmental strategies for reducing youth access to alcohol. This two-hour, self-paced course provides information on youth alcohol consumption patterns and strategies for assessing community needs in this area.

Specifically, the course helps participants:

  • Understand the difference between individually focused prevention and environmental prevention
  • Understand the importance of taking an environmental approach to address issues with alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
  • Use environmental strategies to reduce youth access to alcohol
