1997 National Household Survey on Drug Abuse |
This report presents the main findings of the
1997 NHSDA. The 1997 survey provides information on the use of illicit
drugs, alcohol, and tobacco among the estimated 216 million members of
the civilian, noninstitutionalized population aged 12 or older in the United
States (hereinafter referred to as the "surveyed population"). Specifically,
the Main Findings report provides four main types of information:
