Figure 4.5 is titled "Current Cigarette Use, by Race/Ethnicity and Age: 2004." It is a bar graph, where age in years is shown on the horizontal axis, and the percentage smoking cigarettes in the past month is shown on the vertical axis. For each age group, there are bars representing the following race/ethnicity categories: white, black, and Hispanic.

The percentage of youths aged 12 to 17 who smoked cigarettes in the past month was 14.4 percent among whites, 6.0 percent among blacks, and 9.1 percent among Hispanics.
The percentage of young adults aged 18 to 25 who smoked cigarettes in the past month was 45.1 percent among whites, 28.8 percent among blacks, and 31.7 percent among Hispanics.
The percentage of adults aged 26 or older who smoked cigarettes in the past month was 25.0 percent among whites, 25.7 percent among blacks, and 20.9 percent among Hispanics.
