My Email Service or Client is Blocking Your Emails…What Do I Do?
To ensure you receive emails from the eNetwork, please add the eNetwork@samhsa.hhs.gov email address to the address book or “safe list” within your email account or your virus software.
How Many Emails Can I Expect to Receive from the eNetwork?
The SAMHSA eNetwork sends out a variety of emails to our members. The number of emails that you receive from the eNetwork will vary depending on the topics you select in your profile. Selecting more topics in your profile will likely increase the number of emails you receive on a regular basis. Likewise, selecting fewer topics will decrease the volume of eNetwork emails you receive regularly.
How Do I Change My Email (Topic) Preferences?
Go to the Update My Profile page to change your areas of interest.
How Do I Stop Getting These Emails?
You can unsubscribe from the eNetwork at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any eNetwork email.
Why Do You Need to Know What State I Live In?
Periodically we may send eNetwork emails that feature state-specific announcements and publications. Please note that SAMHSA respects your Privacy. We do NOT share, sell or rent any subscriber information.
How Can I Access Old SAMHSA eNetwork Emails?
Go to the Archive Page, which lists all past emails sent through the eNetwork.
What Happened to SAMHSA’s Former Information Management System?
The former system, called the SAMHSA Information Mailing System (SIMS), was replaced by SAMHSA's eNetwork in May 2007. This new system is more automated, has more features & flexibility, and allows us to better serve you.
I Already Had A SIMS Account…Why Do I Have to Sign up Again for eNetwork?
We understand that it may be an inconvenience for you to sign up again. There were several issues we faced which led to the decision to have a new sign-up process. Some of the issues included:
- Too many old, out-of-date accounts and lists on SIMS
- Duplicate accounts within SIMS
- Simplified sign-up ("profile") page
Ultimately, we are striving to ensure that the only people who get information from SAMHSA are those who signed up to receive it.
Is My Information Kept Private?
Yes. Your privacy is important to SAMHSA. The information you provide is voluntary, and is only used for SAMHSA eNetwork communications. For more information, please see SAMHSA's Privacy Policy.
I Have A Friend Who Might Be Interested In This...How Can I Send This To Them?
You can use the “Forward to a Friend” link in any email from the eNetwork to forward to one friend or many friends at the same time.
