SAMHSA Center for Substance Abuse Treatment Advisory Council to Meet

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) National Advisory Council will meet on December 11, 2008.  SAMHSA Acting Administrator, Eric B. Broderick, D.D.S., M.P.H. will address the council, along with CSAT Director H. Westley Clark, M.D., J.D., M.P.H. 

The agenda will include discussions on the recently enacted parity legislation and implementation issues, SAMHSA’s Grants Process Improvement, SAMHSA’s Household Survey, National Expenditures for Mental Health Services and Substance Abuse Treatment, and an overview and update on the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention’s initiatives.
