SAMHSA Awards Grants to Tribal Group

Dr. Eric B. Broderick, Acting Administrator for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), being honored with a Pendleton Blanket from the Montana Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council at a big check event in Billings, MT. On November 16, 2009, the Acting Administrator for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Rear Admiral Dr. Eric B. Broderick was being honored with a Pendleton blanket from the Montana Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council at a big check event in Billings, MT. Montana Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council was awarded two grants for suicide and substance abuse prevention.

SAMHSA is a public health agency within the Department of Health and Human Services. The agency is responsible for improving the accountability, capacity and effectiveness of the nation's substance abuse prevention, addictions treatment, and mental health services delivery system.
