The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is accepting applications for grants designed to develop and improve the capacity of minority community-based organizations to more effectively serve their communities in terms of substance abuse and HIV/AIDS prevention services.
SAMHSA expects that grants of up to $300,000, for each year for up to three years will be provided to up to 23 selected grantees. The actual award amounts may vary, depending on the availability of funds.
WHO CAN APPLY: Minority Serving Institutions (i.e., Historically Black Colleges and Universities Hispanic Serving Institutions, Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions and Tribal Colleges and Universities.
