Many organizations are working to improve the quality of prevention, treatment, and recovery services for those with mental health and addiction disorders by implementing programs and activities related to the five PFR focus areas.
PFR's partners support activities in the five PFR focus areas.
PFR Supports NASADAD National Treatment Network
The PFR Initiative was instrumental in helping to establish the National Treatment Network (NTN). This organization is comprised of state agency treatment representatives committed to improving the alcohol and drug health field. The network is a component of the National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors (NASADAD). The NTN aims to promote and support the adoption of evidenced-based or promising practices to expand and improve the publicly funded treatment system.
