Occupational Therapy Practitioners: Role and Value in Public Mental Health Services

Abstract

This paper was developed by members of the California Education Collaborative on Occupational Therapy in Public Mental Health for the California Mental Health Planning Council and mental health organizations statewide. Its purpose is to broaden the understanding of the role of occupational therapy practitioners in mental health and the value of their expanded presence in California’s public mental health service system.
