SAMHSA's Center for Substance Abuse Treatment recently
published What Is Substance Abuse Treatment? A Booklet
for Families. This 31-page resource answers questions
often asked by families of people entering treatment.
The booklet includes chapters on substance abuse treatment
and information for young people. The "Resources"
section at the back of the booklet lists a selection
of sources for more information, including support group
information.
