The Voice Awards were developed to honor consumer/peer leaders who have played a vital role in raising awareness and understanding of mental health and/or substance use disorders and promoting the social inclusion of people with behavioral health problems. The Voice Awards also provide the opportunity to recognize TV and film writers and producers who have given a voice to people with behavioral health problems by incorporating dignified, respectful, and accurate portrayals of these individuals into their scripts, programs, and productions.
If you are interested in attending, covering, or becoming a media partner for the 2013 Voice Awards, please contact the Voice Awards Team at 202-248-5457 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
