Traci Pole (she/her) has worked for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for over 20 years. Traci joined the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in 2019 and serves as the Senior Regional Advisor for the Denver Regional Office. In this role she supports CO, MT, ND, SD, UT, WY and 28 Federally Recognized Tribal Nations with mental health and substance use related projects across the service delivery continuum and the age continuum. Traci co-leads a regional coalition called Food and Mood that is examining the intersection between food/nutrition security and behavioral health with Regional United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) partners. Prior to joining SAMHSA, Traci spent 15 years working in other agencies within HHS leading efforts in public health prevention, healthcare preparedness, reproductive health access, healthcare associated infections, and positive youth development.
