This report includes a brief description of the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) and presents a comparison of state-level BRFSS and NSDUH alcohol and cigarette prevalence estimates for persons aged 18 or older.
State-level totals and 95% confidence intervals for individuals aged 12 or older, 12 to 17, 18 to 25, 26 or older, and 18 or older are presented; also shown are totals for individuals aged 12 to 20 for two alcohol measures.
Individual state tables of percentages and totals by age group are presented along with tables for the four census regions and the total U.S.
