MH-CLD Annual Reports
Annual Reports are produced every year to present information from the MH-CLD. The products in the report are the Annual Report and Annual Detailed Tables. These contain information about clients who received mental health and support services.
2023 Mental Health Client Level Data (MH-CLD) Annual Release
These data files were created based on data collected during the prior administration and certain variables such as gender no longer reflect the current Administration’s priorities.
Annual Report
This report describes the total number of clients receiving mental health and support services in 2023 by demographics, National Outcome Measures (NOMs) and the top five mental health diagnosis category for children (ages 0 - 17) and adults (18 and older) by geographical distribution. This report also includes client characteristics and the top 5 mental health diagnoses among all clients receiving mental health and support services for the 2019-2023 MH-CLD reporting periods. The NOMs presented in this report include stability in housing/residential status and adult employment status.
Detailed Tables
The Annual Detailed Tables provide data on race, ethnicity, sex, age, and National Outcome Measures (NOMs), which include stability in housing/residential status, adult employment, and access to services/capacity of clients served. These tables provide a comprehensive set of national and state-level data on key characteristics of clients receiving mental health and support services in the 2023 reporting year along with their mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance use disorders.
