This report presents data from the Treatment Episode Data Set (TEDS) for 1998, and trend data for 1993 to 1998. The report provides information on the demographic and substance abuse characteristics of people aged 12 and older admitted to treatment for abuse of alcohol and/or drugs in facilities that report to individual state administrative data systems.
