Behavioral Health Barometer: United States, Volume 4

Description:

Behavioral Health Barometer: United States, Volume 4: Indicators as measured through the 2015 National Survey on Drug Use and Health and National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services provides an annual update on a series of topics that focus on substance use and mental health (collectively referred to as behavioral health) in the United States. SAMHSA selected specific topics and indicators in this report to represent a cross-section of the key behavioral health indicators that are assessed in SAMHSA surveys, including NSDUH and N-SSATS. This report is intended to provide a concise, reader-friendly summary of key behavioral health measures for a wide variety of lay and professional audiences. The graphics and text include data on the nation as a whole and for subgroups based on demographics (age, gender, and race/ethnicity) and other factors (poverty status, health insurance status, and metropolitan statistical area status).
