These detailed tables present standard errors for totals and prevalence estimates of substance dependence/abuse and treatment need/receipt from the 2010 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH). Substances examined include illicit drugs, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, hallucinogens, inhalants, and the nonmedical use of prescription-type pain relievers, tranquilizers, stimulants, and sedatives, and alcohol.Standard errors are provided by age group, gender, race/ethnicity, education level, employment status, and geographic area. Standard errors are provided for both 2010 and 2009.
