The metro reports include estimates of rates substance use and mental disorders in the United States and in 33 metropolitan areas across nation. Topics covered include substance use disorder, major depressive episode, illicit drug use, marijuana use, cigarette use, binge alcohol use, and the nonmedical use of prescription-type pain relievers. Results are provided by metro area, state, and the U.S. overall.
