National Mental Health Services Survey (N-MHSS): 2017, Data On Mental Health Treatment Facilities

This report presents findings from the 2017 National Mental Health Services Survey (N-MHSS) conducted from March 2017 through December 2017. The N-MHSS collects information from all known facilities in the United States, both public and private, that provide mental health treatment services to people with mental illness.3 The Center for Behavioral Health Statistics and Quality (CBHSQ) of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, plans and directs the N-MHSS.

National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS): 2017, Data on Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities

This report presents results from the 2017 National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS), an annual census of facilities providing substance abuse treatment. Conducted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), N-SSATS is designed to collect data on the location, characteristics, and use of alcohol and drug abuse treatment facilities and services throughout the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and other jurisdictions.

2017 NSDUH Detailed Tables

Results from the 2017 National Survey on Drug Use and Health: Detailed Tables is a collection of tables presenting national estimates from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH). These tables present information for youths aged 12 to 17 and adults aged 18 or older (separately and combined) on drug, alcohol, and tobacco use, as well as substance use disorder (SUD), risk and availability of substance use, treatment, health topics, and alcohol consumption.

2017 Methodological Summary and Definitions

This report is organized into seven sections. Section A describes the survey, including information about the sample design, data collection procedures, and key aspects of data processing (e.g., development of analysis weights). Section B presents technical details on the statistical methods and measurement, such as suppression criteria for unreliable estimates, statistical testing procedures, and issues for selected substance use and mental health measures. Section C discusses special topics related to prescription psychotherapeutic drugs.

2018 National Directory of Drug and Alcohol Abuse Treatment Facilities

The National Directory of Drug and Alcohol Abuse Treatment Facilities - 2018 is a listing of federal, state, andlocal government facilities and private facilities that provide substance abuse treatment services. It includestreatment facilities that (1) are licensed, certified, or otherwise approved for inclusion in the Directory by theirState Substance Abuse Agencies, and (2) responded to the 2017 National Survey of Substance Abuse TreatmentServices (N-SSATS). The information about each facility that appears in this Directory was provided by thatfacility in response to the 2017 N-SSATS.

2018 National Directory of Mental Health Treatment Facilities

The Directory is ordered alphabetically by state, by city within each state, and by facility name within each city.Each facility listing includes codes that represent the services offered and other features of the facility, includingcodes that indicate services for hearing impaired and non-English-speaking clients. Codes are defined in a keyshown on pages v-vii. Because the services offered by a particular facility may change over time, it is always a goodidea to verify the information in this Directory when contacting a facility.
