Description

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) is accepting applications for the fiscal year (FY) 2021 National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics-Expansion Grants (Short Title: TTA-CCBHC). The purpose of this program is to provide training and technical assistance to active SAMHSA CCBHC Expansion (CCBHC-E) grants in the following domains: (1) implementation and adherence to the CCBHC model; (2) utilization and integration of evidence-based services in CCBHC-E grant programs; and (3) sustainability and alignment of practices with CCBHC and/or state certification criteria. The TTA-CCBHC will ensure that CCBHC-E grantees are effective and successful in providing comprehensive 24/7 access to community-based mental and substance use disorder (SUD) services; treatment of co-occurring disorders; and physical healthcare in one single location. The TTA-CCBHC will also provide guidance to CCBHC-E grantees to promote adherence to the CCBHC model, certification, sustainability, and the implementation of processes that support access to care and evidence-based practices.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are domestic public and private nonprofit entities. For example:

  • Public or private universities and colleges;
  • Behavioral healthcare organizations; and
  • National stakeholder organizations.

Anticipated Award Amount: $3,000,000

Length of Project: Up to five years

Cost Sharing/Match Required?: No

Proposed budgets cannot exceed $3,000,000 in total costs (direct and indirect) in any year of the proposed project. Annual continuation awards will depend on the availability of funds, grantee progress in meeting project goals and objectives, timely submission of required data and reports, and compliance with all terms and conditions of award.)
