Description
The purpose of the program is to develop and implement alternatives to opioids for pain management in hospitals and emergency department (ED) settings.
Eligibility
Eligibility is statutorily limited to domestic nonprofit hospitals and emergency departments, including free standing emergency departments.

Anticipated Total Available Funding: $4,750,000
Anticipated Number of Awards: 10
Anticipated Award Amount: Up to $500,000 per year
Length of Project: 3 years
Cost Sharing/Match Required?: No
Proposed budgets cannot exceed $500,000 in total costs (direct and indirect) in any year of the proposed project. Annual continuation awards will depend on the availability of funds, grantee progress in meeting project goals and objectives, timely submission of required data and reports, and compliance with all terms and conditions of award.
