Description
The purpose of this program is to provide training, guidance, and mentoring on the use of Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). It is intended to enhance the capacity of healthcare and counseling professionals to identify and treat opioid use disorder (OUD).
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are professional associations authorized under Section 1263 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 to carry out substance use disorder training of practitioners seeking or renewing registration from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Funding Mechanism: Cooperative Agreement
Anticipated Total Available Funding: Up to $1,500,000
Anticipated Number of Awards: One (1) award
Anticipated Award Amount: Up to $1,500,000 per year
Length of Project: Up to 3 years
Cost Sharing/Match Required?: No
Proposed budgets cannot exceed $1,500,000 in total costs (direct and indirect) in any year of the proposed project. Annual continuation awards will depend on the availability of funds, grantee progress in meeting project goals and objectives, timely submission of required data and reports, and compliance with all terms and conditions of award.
