Description
The purpose of this program is to improve local awareness among youth of risks associated with fentanyl, increase access to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) for adolescents and young adults screened for and diagnosed with opioid use disorder (OUD), and train healthcare providers, families, and school personnel on best practices for supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with OUD and those taking MOUD.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are domestic public and private non-profit entities.

Anticipated Total Available Funding: Up to $1,900,000
Anticipated Number of Awards: 4
Anticipated Award Amount: Up to $450,000 per year per award
Length of Project: Up to three years
Cost Sharing/Match Required?: No
Proposed budgets cannot exceed $450,000 in total costs (direct and indirect) in any year of the proposed project. Annual continuation awards will depend on the availability of funds, grantee progress in meeting project goals and objectives, timely submission of required data and reports, and compliance with all terms and conditions of award.)
