National Prevention Week

Thank you for joining SAMHSA and our partners across the country in celebrating National Prevention Week 2022!

Each May, we observe National Prevention Week to raise awareness about substance use prevention and positive mental health. NPW is the culmination of the work that you – our partners in treatment, prevention, and recovery – are doing every day to strengthen communities, build resilience, and create hope.

Prevention works, and we’re stronger, together. So, let’s keep the momentum going into 2023!

Pumped for NPW 2023? We are, too! Planning will begin soon, so please make sure to sign up for our email list and follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for the latest information.
