Part of a program of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, the 16 Firefighter Life Safety Initiatives encompass efforts to increase safety and well-being for firefighters and emergency medical services personnel. Firefighters Helping Firefighters was created in partnership with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and with funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
