Communities implement deflection and pre-arrest diversion (DPAD) to link people to evidence-based care and services instead of incarceration. Developed with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this package of resources supports implementation of DPAD programs to better support people at risk of opioid overdose. These resources were informed by key informant interviews and an expert roundtable.
