Building a diverse prevention workforce is an essential element in meeting a community's needs. Yet expanding the prevention workforce and recruiting and retaining staff that truly reflect the community can be challenging. This two-part webinar series will explore strategies for addressing these challenges such as recruitment of a diverse workforce, retention, professional development, and promotion, and using resources available to support certification.
- Session 1 will explore the benefits of workforce development efforts, methods for assessing workforce development needs, recruitment, and essential components of workforce development assessments.
- Session 2 will focus on the elements of a comprehensive approach to workforce development planning, and strategies for overcoming obstacles to implementing a workforce development plan and building support among stakeholders for developing and implementing this plan.

This two-part webinar series will explore important questions related to data collection at the community level, including how to collect the data you need, address data collection challenges, and ensure that data collection approaches are inclusive and respectful.
- Session 1 will explore foundational data collection concepts including commonly used terms, data sources, and collection methods.
- Session 2 will focus on engaging partners in data collection activities, addressing challenges, and implementing culturally responsive practices.
