Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) is the premier membership organization representing those working to make their communities safe, healthy and drug-free. CADCA has members in every U.S. state and territory and working in 18 countries around the world. Special programs within CADCA support returning veterans and their families and train youth leaders to be effective agents of change –all through the coalition model. CADCA’s network of more than 5,000 community coalitions brings together key leaders within the community to address local conditions from underage drinking to prescription drug abuse. |

Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Prevention of Underage Drinking is a standing committee to provide ongoing, high-level leadership on this issue and to serve as a mechanism for coordinating Federal efforts aimed at preventing and reducing underage drinking. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) serves as the lead ICCPUD agency. Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is the nation’s largest nonprofit working to protect families from drunk driving and underage drinking. MADD also supports drunk and drugged driving victims and survivors at no charge, serving one person every 8.6 minutes through local MADD victim advocates and at 1-877-MADD-HELP. The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking.” To date, MADD’s work has saved 300,000 lives…and counting. |
National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA) is the national association representing the Control State Systems - those jurisdictions that directly control the distribution and sale of beverage alcohol within their borders. Headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area, NABCA serves its members as an information clearinghouse and as liaison to federal, state and local governments, research and advocacy groups, and other organizations impacting alcohol policy. |
National Conference of State Liquor Administrators was founded June 19, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois. This national organization of state alcohol beverage regulators purpose is to promote the enactment of effective and equitable state alcoholic beverage laws, and provide a forum for networking among the regulators and industry. |
National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) is one of the 27 institutes and centers that comprise the National Institutes of Health (NIH). NIAAA supports and conducts research on the impact of alcohol use on human health and well-being. It is the largest funder of alcohol research in the world. NIAAA also operates a variety of targeted websites including Rethinking Drinking and College Drinking Prevention. |

Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) leads White House efforts to restore balance to U.S. drug-control efforts by coordinating an unprecedented government-wide public health and public safety approach to reduce drug use and its consequences. This effort includes a renewed emphasis on community-based prevention programs, early intervention programs in healthcare settings, aligning criminal justice policies and public health systems to divert non-violent drug offenders into treatment instead of jail, funding scientific research on drug use, and, through the Affordable Care Act, expanding access to substance abuse treatment. |
Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) is the nation’s leading peer-to-peer youth education and prevention organization with thousands of chapters in middle schools, high schools and colleges. In 1997, in response to requests from SADD students themselves, SADD expanded its mission and name and now sponsors chapters called Students Against Destructive Decisions. SADD continues to endorse a firm "No Use" message related to use of alcohol and other drugs. With its expanded focus, SADD now highlights prevention of all destructive behaviors and attitudes that are harmful to young people, including underage drinking, substance abuse, impaired driving, violence, and suicide. |

The National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors, Inc. (NASADAD) is a private, not-for-profit educational, scientific, and informational organization. The Association was originally incorporated in 1971 to serve State Drug Agency Directors, and then in 1978 the membership was expanded to include State Alcoholism Agency Directors. |
The National Liquor Law Enforcement Association (NLLEA) is a non-profit association of law enforcement personnel dedicated to the enforcement of liquor laws and regulations. The NLLEA is committed to improving the standards and practices of liquor law enforcement, to the professional development of its members, and to public recognition of the role and achievements of liquor law enforcement in protecting and promoting public safety. |
The National Prevention Network (NPN), an organization of State alcohol and other drug abuse prevention representatives, is a component of NASADAD that provides a national advocacy and communication system for prevention. State prevention representatives work with their respective State Agency Directors for alcohol and other drug abuse to ensure the provision of high quality and effective alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse prevention services in each State. The NPN, in collaboration with the NASADAD Prevention Committee and staff, implements its mission at the National level. |
We Save Lives (WSL) is the Leading Voice for Highway Safety, educating and influencing the public about the 3D’s; Drunk, Drugged, and Distracted driving. WSL works at the national, state and local levels utilizing policy development, targeted advocacy, outreach and educational efforts to change driving behavior. |
Young People in Recovery (YPR) is a national advocacy organization, which aims to influence public policy, making it easier for our youth to find and maintain their recovery from addiction. YPR establishes city and state chapters, which act as vessels, carrying out our organization's vision and mission. |
